We typically target Columbia River white sturgeon from late March till early December. These prehistoric fish can reach 6 to 12 feet long and weigh up to 1,000 pounds, and the Pacific Northwest boasts more keepers and oversize fish than anywhere else on the planet.
The Columbia River walleye fishery produces both trophy-class fish — over 10 pounds, with true giants pushing 15 pounds or more — and tasty 15 to 20 inch eaters. Timing varies with conditions, so reach out and Charles will help you pick the best window.
You'll need either a Washington or Oregon fishing license with a Columbia River endorsement and harvest card. Buy a Oregon license or a Washington license online before your trip.
